star 4.9Battle B-Daman or Battle B'Daman is an anime and manga series by Eiji Inuki that first aired in January 2004 in Japan, replacing Beyblade in its timeslot. It premiered in the United States on April 2005. Like its predecessor, it is themed around an enhanced version of a children's schoolyard game – whereas Beyblade was based around spinning tops, Battle B-Daman is a dramatized version of marbles. It is the first show of the B-Daman series to be dubbed in English. In Japan, it airs on TV Tokyo. In the United States, India it once aired on ABC Family and Toon Disney's JETIX block. At one point, as well as G4 in the USA, but on the latter was replaced by G.I. Joe Sigma 6 soon after. In Canada, it airs on YTV, in which on February 2007, the second season commenced with a completely new voice cast, and what some have called inferior dubbing from the first season; the French dub of the show airs on Télétoon.3D Spy

star 7.5The Aeronauts was a French children's TV series about two fighter jet pilots and their adventures. It was based on a comic book series by Jean-Michel Charlier and Albert Uderzo. Made by French production company Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française between 1967 and 1970, its original French title was Les chevaliers du ciel. The three seasons were originally filmed in colors but the first season was broadcast on French TV from September 1967 in black and white, as French television was only in black and white at the time. All three seasons, however, were later released in colors when the series appeared in a 6-DVD box in the early 2000s. This 6-DVD set is now sold out and used copies fetch high prices. It was dubbed into English, retitled The Aeronauts and shown on UK children's TV in the early 1970s. In 1972 Rick Jones released a single of the anglicised theme tune. The "graphic drama" (as described by Saito Productions) which initially premiered in 1971 was produced in the wake of Golgo 13's initial groundswell in popularity from its initial publication in 1968. The anime employed a "scale animation" style whereby the action effects were added onto still and scale images of manga panels prior to filming episodes with sound effects, giving a rough look similar to gekiga manga.
