About Sheima, niece of a Bedouin sheikh and famous for her beauty and poetry, who captures the heart of her cousin Rabih. Sheima's verse contains hidden riddles that no one except Rabih could solve. But she dislikes Rabih's arrogance and pride, so she writes a new poem with a riddle. The man who solves this riddle shall marry her. In an effort to improve the quality of the animation, production of the 1965 syndicated cartoons was taken over by Hanna-Barbera, making it one of the few cartoons to be produced by two different studios. It was renamed Sinbad Jr., the Sailor out of deference to the 1962 Toei Studios feature-length cartoon, Adventures of Sinbad.
