Hikaru Higashi, an ordinary junior high school student, was involved in a crash while enjoying a sightseeing flight in a balloon with his parents, but all miraculously survived. But boy is unaware, that balloon exploded due to the impact of the sound waves, created by the esper alien couple, who had their home planet destroyed by another alien named Giron, and arrived on Earth. Alien couple, secretly possessed Hikaru's parents bodies, to compensate Hikaru,'s loss, and since then they have been living as a family.
