Viidakon tähtöset on keväällä 2012 Sub-kanavalla alkanut sarja. Sarjaan valitut kymmenen julkkista joutuvat keskelle viidakkoa, jossa heidän täytyy Selviytyjät-sarjan tavoin selviytyä erilaisista raha- ja majoitustehtävistä.
Kuvausryhmän lisäksi sarjassa mukana olleet kilpailijat saivat kuvata omaakin materiaalia, jota esitettiin Sub-kanavan nettisivuilta. Sarjan ensimmäinen tuotantokausi kuvattiin Thaimaassa sijaitsevassa viidakossa syksyllä 2011.

Podnebesnaya was a musical production company organized by producer Ivan Shapovalov. The project for Podnebensaya, with the same title, began in 2003 in Moscow, Russia. The main purpose of the production was to produce t.A.T.u.'s second studio album, however after a falling-out with Ivan, such production was ended. Shapovalov continued to work with other Russian artists including 7B, Helya, Ledokol, FlyDream and n.A.T.o.. A CD was released of this project in 2004, after t.A.T.u. split from Shapovalov. The CD was titled Podnebesnaya No. 1, and only featured one song by t.A.T.u., although the release capatalized on the fact that it was made during the reality show.

Hosted by Nancy O'Dell and Carson Kressley, it featured ten prospective television hosts competing to earn their own television show on the OWN network. Each week, the contestants competed in a themed-television show challenge, where they were watched and judged by O'Dell, Kressley, and a guest judge and mentor, whose expertise is in the theme that week. After the production and filming, one contestant was eliminated, until the best host remained. Zach Anner and Kristina Kuzmic-Crocco were both chosen as the winners. Besides winning their television show, the champions also received $100,000 and a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox.
