The special effects "Super Sentai" series began with "Himitsu Sentai Goranger" in 1975. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the series, and viewers will be voting for 49 works, over 300 heroes, and over 160 giant robots over the course of a month. While announcing the rankings, the show will discuss the appeal of the series that has been loved for 50 years, including the fun of the unique five-person team and the variety of drama styles, including science fiction, fantasy, and period dramas. A certain hero will also appear in the studio!

Comics Unleashed is a half-hour comedic talk show produced by the Entertainment Studios production company and hosted by Byron Allen, with John Cramer as announcer and DJ Cobra providing music support. The show features a panel of four guest comedians performing their standup bits thinly disguised as a sit-down chat show, sometimes preceded by a brief monologue or joke from Allen. Certain episodes were branded as Comics Unleashed: Hot Chocolate, as the featured comedians on those episodes were all of African descent.
In true bedtime fashion, Punam Patel tucks her guests into bed, chats about their life and current projects, and puts them to sleep with some ridiculous classic fairytales, which are widely accepted as normal in one’s youth.
