In Bill Plympton's first couch gag, an extended sequence shows Homer having a whirlwind romance before meeting Marge. After Homer marries Marge, the couch attempts to commit suicide by jumping into a garbage truck, but Homer saves the couch and takes it back home.
Unfortunately the movie Plymptoons Couch Gag is not yet available on HBO Max.
