After years of exploring the world through his cooking, Fred Chesneau, a Nouvel Éclaireur, has decided to refocus on France, to meet the farmers, fishermen, market gardeners, pickers and cooks who make up the richness of our terroirs.
Paddy, who lives with his sister Melodie on his grandparents' farm, experiences a variety of weird adventures with the animals around him, such as the talking raven Loewie, who constantly makes funny jokes. He also often has trouble with a neighboring boy, Fred. Only Paddy can evoke a mysterious blue man, Onyx, who has magical abilities and solves problems for Paddy.
Tales of the Night is a 1992 French silhouette animation television special written and directed by Michel Ocelot. It aired on Canal+ in France, ZDF in Germany and Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. It is a trilogy of three further fairy tales in much the same format as Ciné si.
