The Amazing Race Philippines is a reality game show based on the American series The Amazing Race. It features eleven teams of two with pre-existing relationships, who will vie for the prize of ₱2 million in a race around the Philippines.
It premiered on October 29, 2012 and airs every Mondays to Fridays at 9:00 PM and Saturdays at 8:30 PM on TV5 and is hosted by Derek Ramsay.
The show is produced by the Australian production company, activeTV, which has also produced The Amazing Race Asia, The Amazing Race Australia, an Israeli version called HaMerotz LaMillion, and the Ukrainian version called Velyki perehony.
It is the fifth Asia-Pacific version after The Amazing Race Asia, The Amazing Race Australia, The Amazing Race: China Rush, and The Amazing Race Vietnam.
Philippine Idol was the first version of the Idol series in the Philippines, the 35th country in the world to air a local Idol adaptation and the sixth in Asia. The franchise was first awarded by FremantleMedia, 19 Entertainment and CKX, Inc. to ABC Development Corporation in 2006 and then to GMA Network in 2008. Just like the premise of original show Pop Idol, Philippine Idol aims to find the best singer in the country who can be defined as the "national" singer. Local television personality Ryan Agoncillo hosted the program. Ryan Cayabyab, Pilita Corrales and Francis Magalona were also judges of the show. Agoncillo, Corrales and Magalona auditioned to be part of the program, while Cayabyab was chosen by the program's producers. Meanwhile, actress Heart Evangelista hosted the daily updates program I ♥ Philippine Idol: Exclusive. Composer Mel Villena was the show's musical director.

Talentadong Pinoy is a Philippine reality talent show. Hosted by Ryan Agoncillo, it displays performances from singers, dancers, actors, musicians and comedians, to contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, ventriloquists and magicians. Contestants are allowed to perform any act they want. One difference to the Got Talent series is that the judges give their opinions on the performance of the performer and the jury decides the winner. It is aired every Sunday

Pinoy Explorer is a Philippine Infotainment show hosted by Aga Muhlach and aired on TV5. It airs every Saturdays at 7:00-8:00 pm after Aksyon Weekend. It debuted on September 18, 2011, and features clips from the “Clash of the Titans” series and BBC’s “Walking with Dinosaurs.”
It is an edutainment program wherein Aga Muhlach, the host travels to many different places around the globe with an aim to educate the Filipino viewers in discovering the wonder’s of the world: places, people, artifacts, and history. The program not only showcases trips to other places but it also educates viewers and takes them on journeys of discovery using cutting-edge technology. The show ended in May 4, 2013 as Aga runs for congressman for the 4th district of Camarines Sur.

There are two versions of The Price Is Right in the Philippines, aired on two networks. The first version aired every Sunday on ABC and was hosted by Dawn Zulueta, with voice over provided off screen by Mark Mangaliman, from 2001 to 2003. The second version, hosted by Kris Aquino on ABS-CBN, premiered on February 14, 2011. Voice over is provided by "Rich," composed of the identically-named The Amazing Race Asia 4 winners Richard Hardin and Richard Herrera; at one point, due to a prior commitment by the Richards, ABS-CBN reporter Marc Logan, known for his tongue-in-cheek reporting and comedic voice overs, filled in for the duo.

Game 'N Go is a Philippine noontime game show, variety show broadcast by TV5. Originally scheduled to air from Mondays to Saturdays, the program premiered on June 17, 2012 with a Sunday noontime slot., and broadcast live from TV5's Delta Studio in Quezon City, the timeslot is every Sundays at 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Big News is the first ever newscast on Philippine television. It was the primetime news broadcast of Associated Broadcasting Company in the Philippines. It was anchored by Cheri Mercado and Amelyn Veloso. The show was originally first aired in 1962, and went off the air in 1972 due to martial law, and re-aired again in 1992 as a revival and also as an English language newscast. In 2004, when the network reformatted most of its programs, the show became a Filipino language newscast in order to compete with the other networks newscasts.
On May 10, 2004, the newscast exchanged timeslots with Sentro, the early-evening news program of the network. Mercado became the sole anchor of the program, and the length of the program was reduced to 15 minutes from the former 30.
On August 8, 2008, the program, together with Sentro aired its final broadcast.
