The Bund III is a Hong Kong period drama television series broadcast on TVB in 1980. The series is a direct sequel to The Bund and The Bund II, which were both released earlier in the same year.

Planet Meow stars Kristal as Miu Miu, a cat-like alien from a distant, technologically-advanced planet. She looks after her beloved human master Sze Sze (child star Celine Yeung) from above. Many people die as old-fashioned tenement Wai Lei Building abruptly collapses. Engineer Sze Kwong has conducted a survey of the building. He arbitrarily investigates the incident as he reckons the building collapse is shrouded in intrigue. While the incident is being unraveled, Sze Kwong’s girlfriend Cheung Man, who is some property developer’s lawyer, dies in a traffic accident. Then his younger half sister Auyeung Ka-shun meets her death. Sze Kwong is also silenced. Sze Kwong comes round and surprisingly returns to somewhere in time before the building collapses as the deity has given him a chance to live again!

The series is a direct sequel to 2005's The Academy. The main cast features Ron Ng, Sammul Chan and Chin Ka Lok from the original series and new cast including Michael Tao, Sonija Kwok, Joey Yung, Kenny Kwan and Kate Tsui. The story continues on with the two male leads in the series with their growth as young police officers with personal conflicts in their bonds as friends and romantic relationships. The drama is about the life of a group of Hong Kong police officers and cadets inside and outside of work.
