39 i pół is a Polish comedy-drama television series that appeared on TVN for three seasons from March 4, 2008 through December 1, 2009. The series tells the story about Darek, a man just before his 40th birthday who wants go back to his wife and teenage son.
Cape Town. Police captain Mat Joubert used to be the best, solved every crime, got every killer. But that was a year ago, before his wife Lara was murdered while working undercover. Mat's been on a downward spiral ever since, haunted by a blurred past, uncertain which role he played in the murder of his wife. Now Mat is an out of shape chain smoker who is ambivalent about the crime-ridden world around him. Gradually, Mat begins to overcome the ghosts of his past. But in order to stop the violence of his current cases he must relive the nightmare of his wife's murder.
Taniec z gwiazdami is a Polish light entertainment reality television series broadcast by TVN. It was the Polish version of the BBC's popular Dancing with the Stars / Strictly Come Dancing franchise which has been sold to more than 30 countries worldwide.
The 1st season of Taniec z gwiazdami aired in Poland on TVN in the spring of 2005, the 2nd in the autumn of 2005, the 3rd season in the spring of 2006, the 4th season in the autumn of 2006, the 5th season in the spring of 2007, the 6th season in the autumn of 2007, the 7th season in the spring of 2008, the 8th season in autumn 2008, the 9th season in the spring of 2009, the 10th edition in the autumn of 2009, the 11th season in the spring of 2010, the 12th season in the autumn of 2010 and the 13th season in the autumn of 2011. The series never premiered a season in 2012, but will premiere the 14th on the spring of 2014.

It is presented by four duets: Dorota Wellman with Marcin Prokop and Jolanta Pieńkowska with Robert Kantereit who are on air from Monday to Friday and Kinga Rusin with Bartosz Węglarczyk and Magda Mołek with Andrzej Sołtysik who host the show at weekends.
The programme is also broadcast on iTVN and TVN HD.
During the summer holidays it is replaced by Dzień Dobry Wakacje.
Struggling to overcome her husband’s death and also looking for inspiration, crime novelist Olga Sawicka visits an orphanage where one of the children has gone missing. She soon finds that the orphanage hides many dark secrets and becomes entangled in a deadly dangerous investigation.
