The X Factor is the Arabic version of the The X Factor. Its first Arabic series started on March 26, 2006. The 14-episode first series was broadcast in 22 Arabic-speaking countries. It was known to be in its debut, one of the most watched programs on TV and it is produced and supported by Rotana, the biggest production company in the Arab World. The winner of the competition earned a chance to sign with Rotana.
The X Factor is created by Simon Cowell. The Arabic-language version of the program had a similar format to the British version, in that there were three judges who each had four contestants to mentor, resulting in a total of twelve contestants.
Super Star är Arabförbundets medlemsstaters version av TV-programmet Idols, och hade premiär 2003. Programmet har blivit enormt populärt och har hittills hållit på i hela 3 säsonger. En jury ska runt om i hela Arabförbundet leta efter morgondagens popstjärna. Sedan får folken i Arabförbundets medlemsstater rösta fram både finalister och vinnaren. Programmet började 2003 och har hållit på sedan dess, och hittills har tre personer fått sina drömmar uppfyllda.
Project Fashion: El Musamim El Arabi is the Arabian Version of the successful American reality TV show "Project Runway". The show was premiered on February 26, 2006 to May 7, 2006 on Future TV. The show features 12 Arabian designers who compete to become "the next big Arab designer". During the Season Finale only one winner will be chosen.
The host of the show is Norma Naoum, ex-Miss Lebanon 1999 and the mentor, the Lebanese designer Rabih Keyrouz.
