The Peres-Arismendi family is in the absolute misery living in what was once the aristocratic house they own. They are constantly "scraping the pot" (the show's title) since they barely have any income to get through the day. This dysfunctional family will invent all kinds of crazy businesses to become true emerging Chileans.
